| Abacus Racing & Machine Shop Services is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia at 1372 Baker Rd. in the Airport Industrial Park. Formally known as Phase One Machine Shop, we are the original import performance shop in the Tidewater area. Established over 15 years ago, Abacus Racing began building race motors for British sports cars participating in SCCA and SVRA roadracing. That experience carried over to the development of Nissan 4 and 6 cylinder engines for SCCA GT-2 and GT-3 roadracing culminating in numerous national championships. In addition to machine shop services, we have a six bay repair facility specializing in foreign and import car service. Whether your Jaguar or Honda requires service we have the capabilities in-house to diagnose and service your car. Our technicians are ASE certified and are experts in all areas of automobile service and repair. We service Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Ferrari, and other exotics. Mechanical restoration and overhaul, including sheet metal repair, for early muscle cars and British sports cars is routinely undertaking by our Technicians. Do you own a unique or exotic car and can’t find quality service? Contact us for help. Our Dynojet chassis dynamometer has added a new dimension to our services. We can now fully test and tune any vehicle we service. To complement our chassis dynamometer, we have increased our staff to provide support for late-model performance upgrades.
